November playlist, Friday kudos, wine for your weekend

The November Playlist!

budsDo not tell me you’re already pumping up the Christmas music? I love a good Christmas playlist as much as the next girl, but please do your holidays in some semblance of order. There might not be a thing as “Thanksgiving music,” but here’s a list of super chill, fall inspired instrumentals to relax to as the nights get chilly, and the mornings get frosty.

Big Sky Sunset – Jon Schmidt – TRACK
Sweet Remembrance of You – William Joseph – TRACK
Fields of Gold – Caroline Campbell – TRACK
Rain – Simply Three – TRACK
November Rain – David Garrett – TRACK
Canon in D – Brian Crain – TRACK

River Flows in You – Yiruma – TRACK
And then I Kissed Him – Hans Zimmer – TRACK

Friday kudos to…

It’s another one of those weekends. There’s only one kudos, and it’s all yours “Amber Child”! Three and a half years ago you brought down the house singing at my wedding, and tomorrow, I’ll be honored to watch you take that slow walk down the aisle yourself! To you is the kudos and all the happiness I can wish!

Wine for your weekend

Image result for Yellow Tail Bubbles roseAs it’s another wedding weekend, I’ll be dancing and toasting my weekend away, so why not recommend a spot on sparkling wine, for your own end of the weekend celebrations. Here’s a really inexpensive, really widely distributed option from a wine label you may even already know by default. Yellow Tail Bubbles Rose. This semi-sweet sparkling wine is actually quite dry compared to how some sparkling roses roll. It’s crisp on the finish with notes of strawberry and cherry, and tastes light, summery and tropical. Recently, our wine loving friends have gone to serving champagne or sparkling wine with appetizers, and this would make a lovely pairing for either dried fruit (I’d recommend mango) or with rich cheese or salami as the wine holds enough acidity and dryness to cut through the fat. At under $10 a bottle, there’s no good reason not to snag one, or four, for this weekend’s festivities!
